I'm in Calc BC right now and my grade is pretty bad. I'm a junior, btw.
I have till the end of this week to switch to AB or i'm stuck in BC for the rest of the semester. I've finished about 6 weeks in BC and as I mentioned above, my average is 79. My teacher recommends I switch to AB, as my junior grades are important.

Should I switch or should I try and work my way through BC? Please give me some advice as soon as you can, i've only got 2 days left.

Thanks!

Stay, you will learn so much more. Come on, it is probably from the logs, trigs and all the review from the previous year. The calculus part is a breeze.

Thanks. There was a ton of review actually. I’m considering switching because I think I can easily get a 90+ in AB since the content is considerably less and they go way slower. I just want my junior grades to look good.

Yea, I got a 74% on my last Calc test cause I forgot my trig identities… Do not worry about grades, just learn all that you can. 20-30 years from now, it won’t matter what grade you got, but what you have learned and how you used it.

But my main worry is college admissions. Wouldn’t the bad grade look bad on my resume?

I would definitely suggest that you switch to AP AB if you think you can ace it.
I got a horrible grade (nearly a D) in AP Math during my freshmen year. Thank god, I made the excellent decision to switch to the honors root, in which I got a strait “A” in Honors PreCalc Sophemore Year, and will get an “A” in AB Calc with little effort.

An A (perhaps even an A-, but not lower), is better than anything below a “B” in BC Calc.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I’m still confused but i should clear everything up soon. Thanks a ton!
