Hi, all. I am a current sophomore, but in the fall of 2020, I will be a junior. I wouldn’t consider myself a “bad” student, but I have As and Bs, definitely more Bs. I signed up for 4 AP classes and Honors Math in earnest but now I’m getting cold feet as to whether I can do it. Classes: AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP English Language, and AP Psychology; Honors Pre-Calculus. Any tips on what I should do and how I can juggle so many classes and still get good grades?
I’d be careful. My daughter loaded her schedule with 3 APs and varsity lacrosse. Her grades suffered which hurt her overall GPA. I might consider taking AP Stats senior year, or AP Bio the same, but not both. Colleges will look at the quality of your courses, but they will also most importantly look at your GPA. Focus on 3 APs (or maybe two?) and your SATs/ACTs.
Thanks for the reply! In hindsight, 4 is a lot.
