Hi, I’m planning for my senior schedule to be
4 AP’s 1 DE:
APES
AP Gov
AP Stats
AP Psych
English Lit Dual enrolled
or
3 AP’s 1 DE:
AP Gov
AP Stats
AP Psych
English Lit
Which one should I do? I want a schedule that would seem worthy in the college admissions process but I also want to have enough time to fill out apps lol.
It depends on what else you are doing and what the norm is at your school. 4 classes (3 APs and 1 DE) sounds a bit light if you don’t have any other classes/electives.
@LoveTheBard I got to a competitive magnet school. I’m planning on taking Spanish 3 Honors, Marine Science 2 Honors, Anatomy and Physiology Honors. Also doing Mu Alpha Theta but that’s about it.
Sounds like more than enough with 3 APs and a DE. My comment about would have been applicable if that were all you were taking. It seems like you’ll have 7 classes altogether which is more than enough (too much, imho).
If your GC will tick the ‘most rigorous’ box for both options, there isn’t a meaningful difference from an admissions standpoint between the two.
