Should I take 5 AP classes my junior year?

I have taken AP classes before with AP World in freshman year and AP Lang, AP Art History, and AP Seminar in sophomore but I am worried about taking 5 APs in my junior year as I play 2 sports one being after school everyday. The classes I would be taking would be AP Psychology, AP Calculus AB, AP English Lit, AP Research, Physics Honors, U.S. History honors and AP Computer Science A. Any recommendations? Do I drop an AP?

If you can handle that workload without going insane while maintaining your mental and physical health and GPA, then by all means, go for it. Otherwise, I would definitely drop some weight. It’s better to pick and choose which APs you will be able to devote time to and can succeed in. It won’t do you any good to get subpar grades from being overwhelmed with work.

It’s too much. Remember even top colleges expect 6-8 AP’s TOTAL.
Drop AP Psychology since it’s an elective - you can always take it senior year if you love the subject and you already have a social science with US History Honors.
