Should I take a third Spanish class or a class in visual arts?

I’m going to be a senior this fall, and I have like this one open slot to pick what class I want. I’m choosing not to keep my computer class, since I want to put more focus on strengthening my chances at admissions. Although my college doesn’t count a third foreign language in their college preparatory curriculum(Required courses), I wondered if colleges see that I take a third Spanish class would it be helpful.

I was also planning to take visual arts, since from what I’ve read on collegeboard would be something that is recommended at certain colleges.I’m not going to an art school, but it said that many colleges would probably require or say “you should take this class” for good measure.

Not sure which one to choose, but I know from my classmates, including one who’s failed a handful of classes in high school, is an easy A. If it’s better off to take a third spanish class, then I’ll take it if that will help me more than visual arts.

what do you want to take? I recommend spanish because you have already taken Spanish one and two. Of course the college doesn’t recommend three years. Top colleges say 3 years of language is enough, but in reality they want 4.

If you aren’t going to an art school, don’t take visual arts. Yes, its an easy A but you still want to continue working hard.

Remember that colleges recommend a third year of Spanish. I did my 3rd year this year and I kind of regretted it it was hard and I didn’t do so well in there. But where I am its the end of the year and I’m done with it .So if you take the class be prepared to work. But remember it’s a recommendation not a requirement to get into a super duper amazing school. You should take visual arts for your art credit or you just need a relaxation class to breath in with a bunch of hard courses. Or maybe you just want to develop your art skills  its up to you.

Most colleges recommend a third year of a foreign language. Unless you’re going to attend an art school, I would recommend Spanish III.
