Hey all,
looking for as much advice as possible. I am currently struggling in my courseload, last two semesters, I was able to pull A 's with an exception to one B. Those last two semesters I struggled, at one point, even working 17 hours a week (to provide for my family). I am a low-income student at Cornell University (full ride). This year my mom was able to get her social security back so I don’t have to work as much, so I thought this year would be a lot easier; however, a lot of other circumstances happened and now I’m on a borderline C- or D and don’t know if I should drop this course or continue on? I think if I take this course next year, I’ll be way more prepared and can even get an A+, that is, making sure I study my butt off during the summer to be well equipped during fall. How would this look like when applying to Grad schools or prestigious scholarships? I am scared I will no longer be a good candidate (I have a 3.8 GPA as of now). Thank you for your time. I am so lost on as what to do. Sorry, I’m probably rambling on. I appreciate you. I am also a sophomore if that helps and am active in a lot of educational clubs too.
