I got SAT 2360, should I take ACT?

There is no need for you to take the ACT, except in a few special circumstances. If you think that your SAT II scores will not be in the same league as your SAT I, it might be worthwhile, since some schools will accept the ACT as a substitute for both SAT I and SAT II. If your extra-curriculars are unusually strong and your teachers will give you sterling recommendations, you might become a Presidential Scholar. In most states, unless you have 1600 CR + M, you won’t qualify as a nominee, based on your SAT I scores. However, you can almost always qualify with an ACT of 36 (which you might get) and in many states you can qualify with an ACT of 35 (if the sum of the individual scores is 141).

maybe if your top 3 subject tests are under 2200. but really I think you should relax. after I got a 2370 I was in a similar situation, wondering if I should try for a 2400, or try for a 36. I did some research and talked with my GC. it turns out that colleges LOOK DOWN on the pursuit of standardized testing perfection. just sit back for now and be ready to go for A’s next fall.

My suggestion is to just send the SAT score. It is an amazing score so there is no need to take the ACT

Agreed, there’s really no need to take the ACT with an amazing score like that.
