Hi!
I just applied early decision to my first choice college. Today, however, I discovered that another college I am looking at requires a math subject test- I have only taken History and English. This school says that they will accept results from the January tests, but it will delay a decision- so basically I would have to take the subject test in December, and registration ends in 3 days. I have not even visited this school yet, but I will in 2 weeks. Should I sign up for this test now and cancel if I am accepted to my ED school? Or should I wait for a decision and sign up for the January test if I am rejected from my ED school?
Thanks!
PS-- I am not strong in math AT ALL-- that is why I'm hesitant. I don't want to pay and study for a test if I am acepted to my ED school.

in general, I think you should not ever count on an ED acceptance to the point of closing other doors. So I would recommend proceeding as though you aren’t counting on the ED acceptance.
