Should I take AP Stats or AP Physics 2?

Hello,

I am an incoming junior and I was debating between taking AP Stats and AP Physics 2 in my senior year of high school. Here are the AP classes I am planning to take/have already took.

Freshman year:
AP Human Geography

Sophomore year:
AP Chemistry
AP World History

Junior Year:
AP US History
AP Physics 1
AP Language and Composition
AP Calculus AB
AP Studio Art: Drawing (self-study)

Senior Year:
AP Biology
AP Literature
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics (tentative)

I do not plan be a pre-med, however, I am looking to work in the biomedical field. Should I take AP Stats or AP Physics 2?

Thanks.

AP stats is generally fairly easy, physics, not so much. Could you handle the increase workload? If you aren’t concerned about that, I would vote for physics over stats.

See how you do in AP Physics 1 this year. If you like it and pass the exam, I would suggest taking AP Physics 2; by passing both, you can potentially complete a whole year/a majority of physics in college, which you will need to complete if you plan on majoring in science. If not/you don’t like it, take AP Stats. Either way, the classes will help you in your major.

You have a math and you have a science…you don’t have to take another. Why not AP Psych or AP Econ or some other elective?
