Hey CC,

I've laid out the courses that I've taken in high school, and please let me know if it's too much or any other concerns that I should have. Yes, I know I screwed up freshman year

So overall I'll be taking 3 AP's, 2 Honors and 1 regular course. Is this load going to be too much to handle? Thanks for any suggestions.

I’d say it really depends on the reputation of the class at YOUR school. For example, at my HS, APUSH is spread out over 2 years and is generally viewed as being fairly easy. However, there is a huge amount of material covered- you must honestly evaluate if you will have the time to not only do well in the course, but also on the AP exam. Best of luck with your decision.

APUSH is not that hard for me. But AP chem is. Those are the two APs I’m taking as a sophomore. I think 3 APs will be okay. I don’t know if AP compSci is hard. When I first signed up for these two back in September, people told me I chose the two hardest APs. IMO, chem is a lot harder than APUSH. Of course people are different.

I’m going to be a junior next year too ad I am taking 4 APs. I have heard stories that APUSH is one of the harder APS and the test is brutal! (3 essays in 2 hours!) if you want to challenge yourself and know that you can manage your time well, go for it! Best of luck!

Apush is definitely much more challenging than ap world or any other history classes, I used to read around 2 hours 3/5 days every week for that class compared to reading maybe twice a week for an hour for world. Class itself is very interesting and 3 ap isn’t that harsh on you, but my viewpoint is very biased since I go to a school where the majority take around 3 ap in their junior year
