It was recommended by the lady who did the bio majors lecture during SPOP. I just wanted to see if you guys thought it was useful or not.

NO.

most of my friends dropped it.

the friends that didn't wasted their time and slept in class.

Does anybody know what we DO in this class though? Yeah, that lady kept saying everyone should take it and she was like "let's just say it's required" to get people to take it...but now that I think of it, I don't even know what this class is for.

The catalogue says it's lecture one hour, seminar one hour, presentations about school of bio sci, resources, and programs/opportunities.

Oh, and it's pass or fail...so would that be a good thing?

They 'teach' you how to manage your time. I don't really know, i'll ask a friend who took it later when he goes on AIM.

Don't waste your time with it though.

im taking it. im only taking 12 units and then with bio 2a it would be 13 so my schedule isnt really packed. I went on EEE and read about what they did last year and its all stuff like time management, where to get tutoring, medical school information, and bio resources. Depending on you, if you think it will be useful take it, its only an hour and its pass or fail.
