Should I take Fourth Year of Science?

I took biology in 8th grade and my counselor said I have an extra space in my senior year to take a class of my choice in place of a science elective. I want to take two social studies classes but someone else told me I should still take a senior science class.
(I wanna major in a social science/humanities based major)
I really wanna be eligible for the Ivy League schools though!

What do you think?

What science classes have you taken?
Have you taken Biology, Chemistry, Physics (at any level) + one AP?
What do you want to major in?

What would the rest of your schedule look like?

You should take Honor Chem, Honors or AP Physics 1, then junior and senior year you could choose AP Bio, AP Chem or another AP Physics.

If you don’t want that level, then you could do AP Environmental science for junior or senior year.

I have taken biology in eight grade, chemistry in ninth, and i took ap chemistry this year for tenth grade

Now you need a physics course. Could be regular, Honors (or AP1 if you’re aiming for a STEM major).
Is there a way for you to take regular Physics in summer school for instance?

Well im taking regular physics next year, 11th grade. And yeah I’m pretty sure that I can take physics in summer shcool. For what purpose should I, though?

Ok, that information was missing from the previous list: if you’re taking regular physics in 11th grade, then yes senior year you’d be free to take 2 social science classes and if you’re aiming for Humanities/Social sciences, an AP History and an AP such as economics or government. And no need for Physics summer school (the idea was suggested so you could free up two periods to focus on history/social science/humanities).

Thank u very much for your help. I really appreciate it

Look into the possibility of dual enrollment. For humanities/social sciences, going as high as possible with foreign language is a must. Taking Philosophy (any form: intro, ethics, etc.) is good, too. Think of it as AP physics and AP Calculus for the “Humanities minded”.

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for all ur advice
