Should I take government and history during the summer?

I have AP credit for all of my nonscience courses except for one semester of history and one semester of government. Should I take these during the summer (I'm still a freshman in college)? However, I read that medical schools like it when we take other subjects to make us well rounded. So, should I take government and history during the year and other nonscience courses, or should I double major in something else like math (which I enjoy) and not have all of the other nonscience classes?
P.S. I'm a cell and molecular bio major

Thanks

Does anyone have any suggestions?
