Should I take it a second time?

<p>I took both the ACT (33) and the SAT (2150) once. I studied only minimally. I'm looking at pretty competitive schools (Stanford and Pomona) to apply to in the fall. I have good stats otherwise, 4.0, national awards, SAT2s, etc. Would it be worth it to take one or both of these tests again? If so which ones?</p>

<p>I think you should take the ACT again. If you got a 33 with minimal studying, imagine what you could get by studying. Getting into the schools that you you mentioned is basically a crapshoot, so improving your score will help you out quite a bit.</p>
