Should I take Math 104?

From looking at various different sources, I've gotten the general idea that Math 104 is an unnecessarily difficult class and that I should avoid taking it if possible. I have a 5 on Calc BC , and I WOULD just skip the class, but I also took the online math placement test, and missed several questions, which I think were probably series questions. And, looking at the syllabus of Math 104 online, much of the course is about series.

My main question is though, how much is the stuff you learn in Math 104 really used in the rest of the Wharton classes? I want to eventually take several finance/management classes, and much of the prerequisites for those don't go beyond Math 104 and the 2 Stat classes. Would I struggle a lot in my other classes if I skipped Math 104?

On slightly different note, how necessary will it be to take math classes beyond 104?
