i'm only a freshman, but i took pre-calc in school this yr, and have an a+... should i wait until next yr after i take calc and stats to take math iic or do i have a good shot now?

It's best to take the IIC at the end of the year you take precalc, because precalc covers most of the material. So you should take it this year, before you forget all the trig and stuff.

I agree. I'm a junior now, and have taken AP CalcAB and AP CalcBC... I don't think it would be to your advantage to wait to take the test after Calculus. You probably will forget some trig and other helpful aspects of PreCalc.

Good luck! :)

Yeah... this year I'm in precalc, and I'm already forgetting some of the really useful stuff we learned at the beginning of the year. Like formulas for the sum & product of roots of a polynomial. It's nice to still have the precalc book to be able to look things up in.

yeah, I'm a junior who's taken AP Calc BC> and I signed up to take the Math iic next weekend. However, when I agree with silho-ette. When I tried a practice test, I realized how much I had forgotten about trig and polynomial, and other random stuff.

Yeah... it doesn't test how well you know math, it tests how well you know precalculus.
