Hey when is the best time to take Math IIC?

Besides an actual test date, I mean how much math should you know to get a good score (750+)?

I am currently in Math Analysis (Pre-Calc) over the summer and plan to take AP Calc AB in the fall. I want to take Math IIC in October, but I don't know whether it's a good idea to take it right after Math Analysis.

You should be fine. I took it right at the end of PreCalc and got a 760. As long as you're reasonably good at math and have covered all the precalc stuff, you should be fine. Just buy a review book (PR or Barrons).

take it after youre done with precalc- of course i did that and i got 630 hahaha i dont know what happened. then retook it the next year (after IB Methods) and got 740, still not great but better

Definitely take it now, I took it practically at the same time as you [the end of junior year after finishing pre-calc] and I did pretty well b/c all the trig I learned at the beginning of the year and algrebra from the year before was fresh in my mind.

You still need to prep with a prepbook though....a lot of the questions on Math IIC are easy if you've seen them before. I know a lot of the questions I had never seen in my Precal class, like the f(x) crap.

Yeah I agree with everyone - take it now but review. You'll probably do a mini review in AP Calc because the beginning of a math class is always review. That coupled with review on your own would do you good.

Umm, I really don't know if there's any difference, but I used my 83+ for math II and calc AB this year and they both worked out fine for me, so there really isn't anything you should be worried about.
