My last SAT scores were higher than expected, and I just retook the SATs again to bring my math up, and I felt rather confident while in the math sections. My new SAT score will allow me to apply to apply to more selective colleges, and while doing research I found one or two that I wanted to apply to that required SAT IIs. I am a senior and my last chance to take SAT IIs will be in December, just before regular decision is due. I would probably take the tests on US History and Literature, two subjects in which I feel pretty adept. The schools that would require them are pretty selective, so even if I were to do well on the test, I would have lower chances of getting in. Could this last minute effort to get into a good school work out? If I start studying right away, is it possible for me to do well on the SAT IIs? Is this too last minute to work out in my favor? Should I take the SAT IIs?
