should i take SAT2 US History??

the current high school im attending is very competitive and all its classes are concentrated on humanities, so in order to qualify the 'rounded' applicant every college wants, i've taken the SAT2 Bio and Math2c (both 800).
but the problem is i'm thinking of majoring in humanities since that's what i've mainly learned for the past 4 yrs. and have confidence in.
so then, to satisfy the administrators a bit more, should i take a SAT2 subjest that's not science-related?? i.e. US history???

I've never heard of a college require humanities or science SAT II's unless you're applying for a more competitive or a specific program. In fact, whenever I've asked, they say they don't care what subjects you took them in (although most want math), as long as you show that you've learned something in high school.

The exception, however, is MIT, which requires one math, one science, and one in any area.

If you're going for a humanities major it probably wouldn't hurt to take SAT II for history, show some well-roundedness. Especially if you get another 800!! What did you do to study? I haven't taken any SAT IIs yet.

my combination
bio : barron's -> Kaplan -> PR
math2c : barron's, which is much more, i mean MUCH MUCH more difficult than the real test, but a 710 in this prep book consummates an 800 on the test

If you've taken AP US History, the SAT II US History is really easy.
