Should I take the AP Lit test if I got a 4 on the AP Language test? UCSC

Hi, I’m probably going to commit to UCSC and if I do, I want to know if it’s worth it to take my AP Lit test that I signed up for. I can get a refund, but I care more about being able to skip the test if I don’t have to take it. A few people have told me that since I got a 4 on AP Language, it would be a waste of time to take the Lit test since they only allow 8 credit hours at UCSC.
I looked at this link and seemed to get the same idea. Am I interpreting it correctly?

Also, would entering freshmen year with 32 credits be an advantage, or average?

@cherry650 You are interpreting it correctly. Taking the Lit test will be a complete waste of time and money. Can’t speak to your second question, I’m wondering that too.

@cherry650 @melloG I’d guess that that amount is marginally higher than average. You’ll receive earlier class registration times for your second quarter and beyond.
