Should I take the SAT again for Yale?

1st SAT - CR 770, M 670, W 740
2nd SAT - CR 680, M 800, W 670

I know admission into Yale depends on a lot of things other than good SAT scores, but I was wondering if I should raise my overall score or if I should be satisfied with the superscore. Please help me out!

I’d try one more, but your superscore isn’t bad by any means, and probably won’t matter if you have great ECs and a solid GPA.

If your GPA and EC’s are outstanding, then you probably have around a decent chance with that SAT score. I’d recommend to retake the exam so that you’ll have a better chance. Focus on the English section (mainly writing) since writing is the easiest to improve and you don’t have much time. Good luck.

Does yale superscore?

The OP has a 2310 superscore! I’m just a student, but shouldn’t that be in the ballpark where it stops mattering?

Not necessary. Work on leadership skills, maybe start an organization.

You don’t retake a test for any school. You retake the test because you think you can do better.
