Should I take the SAT again to bring up my math score?

<p>Hi everyone,
I took the May SAT and got a 2110 (660M 700CR 750W). I'm planning on going into the science field, most likely molecular biology or maybe even bioengineering/biomedical engineering. Since I'm planning on going into science and I plan on applying to some selective colleges, is it worth it to study during the summer and then take the SAT again in the fall? I really want at least a 1400 on the 1600 scale (mainly for scholarship opportunities and acceptance into honors programs). This was my second time taking the SAT - is it worth it to take it a third time to get my math score up?
I'm taking the Math 2 subject test in June, but I'm nervous I won't do well because I haven't spent any time studying for it :(</p>

<p>Especially for engineering, I would retake. </p>

<p>I agree ^</p>

<p>Yes</p>

<p>Definitely you should! If not, you should really try to show them what youve got on the subject tests  Have you tried taking the ACT? It might be a better fit. Good luck! </p>

<p>It depends on which school you are going to apply. If you do bring all section scores above 700, you do have better chance in top schools. If you want to major in Science or Engineering, a better Math score is for sure helpful.</p>

<p>definitely retake. 2110 is not that competitive for top schools</p>

<p>Thank you everyone! :)</p>
