Okay, so I took the SAT my sophomore year and got a 2030, not as high as I was expecting. I'm having trouble getting it past 2100 on practice tests, so I've switched to ACT practice tests for a while and I'm doing a lot better- getting 34's usually.

I'm gonna prep for the ACT until spring and hopefully get a 34+, but I'll be okay with a 33.

Assuming I get a 34+, is there any use in my spending countless hours working on my SAT prep?

I know that some schools (like Stanford) require you to sent ALL SAT scores, so this means that they'll see my 2030, right? Would this be a bad thing for my application, even though it was in 10th grade, and my ACT is higher?

Again, this is mostly hypothetical, and I'm mostly just curious :)
