Should I take the subject tests?

It's awesome to have registered in the site that I've been returning to as I look for answers through google. ;]

Well anyway, here are some stats about me:
Class rank:15
Weighted Gpa:3.97
Sat Score I:1500

That really is where the problem lies, my sat scores are terrible. I have already registered for the one this Saturday but I have not studied as much as I should have. I have been in track since Junior year and I still take it seriously. I come home tired from track so its difficult to study for the sats.

However, many of my schools don't require the sat subject tests except Vassar. This is why I was thinking of switching that school with Colgate in case I decide to take the sat a third time because Colgate does not require them.

I might improve my score this Saturday but it seems like I should take the sat for a third time. However, If I do take the subject, I feel like I can score very well, particularly on the Biology and U.S. American history tests. All the schools I want to apply to will take the subject tests.

So should I take the subject tests?
These are my list of colleges/universities I am applying to:

1.Colgate/Vassar
2.NYU
3.Hobart and William Smith
4.Union COllege
5.Rutgers New Brunswick State University
6.Drew University
7.Montclair
8.Rider University

Vassar requires two IIs. NYU gives you choice – submit SAT (or ACT) or three SAT IIs or three AP’s. If you submit SAT it will be used for admission, if you submit both SAT and three SAT IIs it will use one or the other whichever it believes is better for yhou.

All the others you list neither require nor use SAT IIs for admission.

Ok thank you, I will study hard for the third sat. I was just worried that it was I was taking it too many times.
