Should I take the transfer class.

Im an incoming community college transfer and I am signed up for 5 classes.

Business Finance
Principle to Entrepreneurship
Management
I think Calc 1. w/ Analy or Honors Calc 1 if it opens up.
and then the transfer class

Do you think i should take it or has anyone taken it before. I bet its real easy so I think I should take it because they told me too and it would boost my GPA. I just hope it's not time consuming because I want to join maybe two clubs and try to get a job on the weekend as a security guard for the O'Connel Center. Any advice?

whats the transfer class? i am a cc transfer as well

I’m a cc transfer too but I haven’t heard about the transfer class, why would you need it?

GEB4930 . The advisor told me to take this 1 credit course when I was at orientation.

I was told you had to attend it (if you were a Business major) or you’d have to make up for it by attending 4+ seminars in the Fall.

Okay thank you guys. I’m going to check it out and see how it goes for the first week.

I think this is the name: TRANSFER SUCCESS SEM

I registered for the class and the advisor I had is teaching the two sections. She told us as long as you participated and went to class, it was an easy A. We’ll be doing case studies, listening to speakers, etc. And pretty much learning ways to be active on campus.

That sounds good and i met her too. She is really nice. I think I will stay in it if I can. Are you taking it on the first block or second on Friday. I’m in the earlier one. Maybe, we will be in the same class.

Second block… I have a class 3rd period so that was the only one that fit in my schedule. Guess we don’t have the same class, but I’m sure we’ll be doing the same things.
