Should i take TOFEL?

Hi, everyone.

I moved to the United States 4 years ago and i currently have E2 visa.
I heard that people who stay here over 4 years dont need to take TOFEL.
I talked to the officer of University of Oregon and she told me that i dont need to take TOFEL unless my SAT CR is below 500. In addition, she told me i'm considered to be international student even though i pay resident fee.

Also i sent e-mail to UW and the officer says that i'm domestic student.
But should i apply as international student? i'm little confused..should i take TOFEL? 'cuz when i looked at international students' application, it says that international student requires to take TOFEL rather than SAT.. but i already took SAT. Do you think it will be okay to send SAT score, not TOFEL?

and i want to know about University of California..too. (Because i sent e-mail, but they didnt respond)

Each college/university posts its specific English-language proficiency requirements right on its website. You need to read each website thoroughly to find out what they are. Most ESL teachers would recommend that you go ahead and take the TOEFL since you have been living and studying here for fewer than seven years.

Depending on the state that you live in, you may be considered a domestic student for tuition and fees because of the length of time that you have lived here and because you will graduate from high school in the US. Your specific visa status (E2) may also place you in that category.

ohhh… i see! thanks:)
