Should i take up a zoology major?

<p>Im kind of new at this so please correct me if I'm wrong.</p>

<p>I kind of want to become a zoologist in the future but i'm still keeping my options open cause i still have some time till uni. i was wondering if there is anybody out here who is also considering taking up zoology and perhaps fill me in on the pros and cons of being a zoologist?</p>

<p>I'm more into biology so I hope that my future career would be biology-related. what other majors should i consider taking up if I want to go this path in the future? i am really confused about what majors there are thanks!</p>

<p>My neighbor's kid got a zoology degree at a good school. With only the BS the kid is working at technician-level jobs at zoos, and babysitting. It's a field where you probably need a graduate degree, I think, to make a decent salary. (Kid is happy, though).</p>
