Should I transfer colleges? Transferring for a lifestyle change

Hi, I’m a current first year student enrolled in college. Although I’ve only been here for a semester, I’ve been getting this feeling that I’m not where I’m supposed to be. It sounds silly, but I have no major complains against the school I’m currently at. It’s a college in the south and just that I felt like its not the lifestyle I wanted to live and I’ve always dreamed about going to school in a big city like New York or Chicago.

I also felt like due to COVID the college experience I was expecting was totally different. If anyone has any advice on whether or not I should take the chance to transfer? Or if anyone feels the same way?

You should definitely look into schools, even if you don’t go through. You have the chance to go make new memories somewhere else, and in you twenties its a time to make change.
