Should I transfer schools?

I’m in Delaware and I currently go to a high school that’s in a very rural area. I am planning to transfer to a charter school that’s rated as the best High School in my state, and it’s quite goodly ranked nationally. Is it worth it? I’m wanting to transfer because there’s more opportunities there and i’m unsatisfied with the social environment in my current school.

The only downside I can think of is that it’s twice as far as my current high school.

Are there any costs of transferring, is it worth doing so?

how far is that school? Would you be allowed to start in period 2 if you live far away?

@MYOS1634 It’s a 45 minute drive through a bus, but I don’t really mind. I doubt they would let me skip a whole period of class though…

From what the school has to offer, the drive being twice as long seems to be worth it. I’m just worried if there’s any costs to transferring, like catching up or whatever.
