Should I transfer? Where????? Super lost but also unhappy

I’m a second semester freshman at Northeastern University. Last year I basically only got into two schools and picked the one that I thought would be better of them but I think I underplayed how much I wanted the four year experience when choosing schools. I thought NEU’s co-op program would be a huge benefit in the whole recruiting process for a career in finance but I’ve also realized that’s kinda not true either since to even apply to a decent co-op you have to be insanely competitive–let alone getting it, because they recruit and focus on big brand schools. I also feel like I’m not being challenged intellectually-more like I’m just getting a lot of busy work. It seems like all anyone here cares about is drugs and alcohol and going out and I’ve joined plenty of clubs and activities to try and expand my social circle and meet people outside of that but I’m realizing slowly that I don’t connect with anyone here and we’re just two very different types of people. However, I love being in a city and I think I want to be at a school where there is a much stronger community than there is here. I’m thinking about Upenn and Georgetown because those were the schools I was in love with but got rejected from but I don’t know if I even have a shot now.
I’m trying to decide if it’s worth transferring because it’s not like I’m miserable but I’m just generally not having a great time here and for what I’m paying- I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
However- I didn’t have a good High School GPA and I don’t know if my current GPA is good enough to transfer anywhere (I have a 3.8 having taken only business classes, came in with 22 transfer credits)

Well, here’s my 2 cents. If it’s not that challenging…AWESOME!!! You get good grades AND you can get into a top graduate school! I’m seeing that you’re putting yourself in a pigeon hole of finance based around one specific job. No wonder you’re not happy! The idea of college is to step outside of yourself and find a passion. That’s what brings college to life. Parties come and go. Take courses in other things and you might find something you have a passion for.
