Should I trust what UC admissions said?

Hello, Guys, I’m CCC student who wants to transfer UCI computer science using a TAG.

Before I submit my TAG I checked all requirements with my CC transfer center and they said its good.

However, I figured out that one required course is actually not articulated.

Like this.

I&C SCI 31 & Introduction to (4)|No course articulated
Programming |
Same as: CSE 41 |
I&C SCI 32 & Programming with (4)|
Software Libraries |
Same as: CSE 42 |
I&C SCI 33 Intermediate (4)|
Programming |
Same as: CSE 43 |
OR | OR
I&C SCI 21 Introduction to (6)|CISC 190 & JAVA Programming (4)
Computer Science I |CISC 192 C/C++ Programming (4)
Same as: CSE 21 |
AND | AND
I&C SCI 22 Introduction to (6)|No course articulated
Computer Science II |

Same as: CSE 22 |

I finished CISC 190 and 192 to make requirements. (That’s what my CC counselor said)
However, in here my CC doesn’t provide the courses.

So, I call to UCI to actually what happened and what should I do.

The UCI admissions office check with their supervisor to check my eligibility for the TAG.

They said to me that “Since you already met the requirement, which CISC 190 and 192, you are already eligible for the TAG, just simply apply the TAG and you will be fine”

Also, they gave their supervisor and admission officer name to me to confirmed that requirements and may visit them if my TAG denied in April. (They even said that I can use their name if I try to appeal).

Is this mean am I already done with TAG, which just enjoys my time and waits until April to get admitted?

I’m kind of scared because I heard that UCI admission office give wrong information to the CCC students and they got denied TAG and even they appeal, their appeal also got denied.

Also, I’m not sure to have their name and call time with final confirmation with UCI admission office supervisor is enough.

Just keep getting stress, I’m not sure I have to trust them or find all the California Community Colleges to find the online class.

If the courses do not articulate your Transfer Center is correct. The TAG remains valid.

I actually took one course from another college that didn’t articulate in my college. However, I withdraw that course because I have to take midterm and final on campus. So, I ask UC admission and they said you can withdraw that course since your all TAG requirement is completed. I guess my TAG still valid? Not sure I have to trust what they said.

Not trusting what UC admissions told you is always an option.
