Should I Try the SAT?

Hi everyone!
I live in TN which really only supports the ACT and doesn't have students take the SAT. (Of course there's a test center nearby, but my high school doesn't encourage the SAT at all.) Because of this, I've only given thought to the ACT. My scores are 31C 34E 28M 34R 29S. Science and math are killing me xD! Math I know I can bring up, but science I'm having a lot of trouble improving due to the time constraints (35 minutes for 40 questions).
So it's my junior year, and I've been doing a lot of research on the colleges I'm interested in. One of them is the University of Florida. I looked into their honors program. To be considered you must have a 33 composite for the ACT (in one sitting). For the SAT you need a 2070 Superscored.
Since I've struggled so much with science and math I thought I might as well try the SAT since there's no science section and UF Superscores it. However, in having trouble deciding since I've already invested so much time in the ACT and there's only two sections I need to work on. I'm stressed out enough as it is, so the last thing I want to do is study for another standardized test.
So should I try it out? Has anybody here tried the SAT and done so much better on it than the ACT?
Thanks for your help!

Personally, I got so tired of the SAT, so I switched to ACT and did much better. (It was so hard and confusing to me) Granted, I did really well on the science section so that was a help. If it’s the science section that’s tripping you up, I would take the SAT. Especially since Florida will superscore it. I have a lot of friends who hate the ACT and they feel the SAT is better. They say it’s easier to study for. I would switch to SAT and practice and try to take either the January test date, or the March one. You’re a junior so you have time. Hope everything works out for you!

Thanks a lot! @emenya‌ I might go to the Barnes & Noble Black Friday sale and get the Blue Book lol. I think it’s worth trying the SAT, no harm done in trying I guess

I have several more questions. How do you all think my English and reading scores (34s) would compare to what’d I would get on the SAT? And aren’t there going to be changes made to the SAT? And if so when are they going into effect and will that affect study guides?

Instead of trying to guess how you will do, simply take an official practice test. Make sure you time each section correctly. Then use a score comparison chart to compare your SAT score to your ACT score. From there you can decide if it will be worth the amount of effort required to switch to SAT preparation.
