Hey guys. I'm going into my senior year, and I'm really stressed. Coming from the midwest, my school has really pushed the ACT since 8th grade. However, I feel like it's just not my test. I get bored by how long the sections are and sometimes run out of time, but the most unfortunate aspect of the test for me is the science section. Basically, I'm scoring about 34/35 on the reading and writing sections and 32 on the math, but 25 on science no matter how many practices I take. That being said, I still end up with a 31/32 (depending on date) composite, which is a good score, but if I really want to be competitive in admissions or even for scholarships, I need to do better. Do you think I would do better on the SAT? Obviously it doesn't include science, and that in itself is a huge plus, but what else distinguishes it from the ACT? Also, what kind of prep has worked for you guys? Are prep classes outrageously priced, and if so, are they worth it? Thank you!

Self bump… anyone?
