Should I try to transfer to Wake with a 3.4 college GPA?

I have a few questions, my main one being, do I stand a chance with a 3.4 GPA and a 30 on the ACT? My main extracurriculars are two jobs during HS, president of GSA in high school, NHS, research/science fair, and a seasonal job during Christmas this year. I’m currently taking a semester off and am working again. I also have several awards; AP Scholar with Honor, Scholastic Gold Key, 2nd place regional science fair, and highest GPA in Spanish, if that helps at all.

Would it be better for me to do community college for a couple of semesters and apply again after getting my GPA up? Does Wake give good financial aid for transfer students?
My main concern besides money is living in the dorms. I’m gay and autistic, and had issues with dorm life at my old school. Are most people friendly and accepting here?

I forgot to mention, I was also in Honors college and taking an honors course at my previous college.
