If my December SAT scores (third try) are higher across the board for all sections, compared ot my previous SAT scores, should I just use score choice and hide my other scores?

I know that NYU's official policy is that they WANT us to send all scores, but still...

What do you guys think? And will they see that I only show them the December score (which they would most likely think is not my only score), which means that I did not do as they wanted me to, which was to send all scores?

You’re over thinking. NYU considers your highest score for each section, so there is no harm in sending all of your SAT scores, but if you used score choice to send your best scores, that’s all right too.

You have all the data. Only you can decide now. Everyone feels differently. Yes, a human reads the application. If/when they see a score in front of them, it can/will make some subliminal impression. But, is there an impression if they see fewer scores as well? (did this student take more tests, is he/she hiding something?).

In YOUR case…it’s not that you’re trying to manipulate pieces and parts to put together a good score, you’re just looking to select one SAT I sitting, correct? In THAT case (only), I myself would just select the top sitting and send it. But…what if parts are higher in various sittings? That’s bound to happen. But, if not…and every section is higher, I’d send only that. I don’t think you need to worry that they’ll think/know you took the test earlier. Many people didn’t. Good luck. FWIW…this is from their “forums”:

"Yes, you can use Score Choice when submitting test scores to NYU however there is no particular advantage to doing this. We encourage you to send us all of your test scores and we will consider the highest section scores on the SAT Reasoning test from all of your test dates when evaluating your application. Essentially, the NYU admissions office practices “Score Choice” for you. "
