<p>Here's my dilemma: I've been trying to write a new Common App essay and I've miserably failed. I wrote an essay for another college about a month ago that I personally liked and am considering using for the Common App, as well. I believe it would fall under the "topic of your choice" category. </p>
<p>Would anyone take a look at this essay and tell me what you think of it? Is it too lighthearted/not serious enough? What does it tell you about me? Is it bad to re-use this essay?</p>
