Should I withdraw from an elective and take a "W"?

I am in my last semester of undergrad, double major in Spanish and International Studies plus a certificate in Translation which I've already completed. Last semester I took 18 credits and got all A's; my current GPA is 3.67. This semester I am only taking 14 credits, and one of them is a film class on global Catholicism that I am only taking for fun (I do not need these credits). Unfortunately despite taking less credits than last semester my classes this time around are EXTREMELY demanding and I really regret taking the extra class. Not only that, but two of the movies we will be watching are really gory and I cannot handle gore in movies. I am seriously considering just withdrawing from the class but would like to know if it would look really bad on my transcript. The other thing is that if I withdraw it will take me to only 11 credits which is part time; I am not receiving financial aid so are there any other repercussions to this I need to worry about?

I am mostly concerned because a) I can't handle gory movies and would miss a lot of material by not going to either of those classes, b) this class requires a LOT of reading and if I didn't have it it would free up a lot of time to focus on my other extremely demanding class. I want to get all A's this semester again, but it's hard when I also have two internships and a job. Will it be too horrible if I just take a W on this one?

ask your adviser what else needs you to be full-time - housing, etc. before you drop the class

I live off-campus.
