Should I work; or not?

I am 17 year old and I dont know how to drive yet. I will learn next year when Im 18 so the insurance will be lower cuz we virtually have no income for our family. The only driver for my family is my grandfather and my dad's not even in this country. But he's 74 and cannot drive in the dark. I want to work on the weekends only so I can work the whole day, but I dont know if it's possible because this time ( recession) is more competitive than ever so
1) will my option of only working on the weekend work out?
2) I want to work. But I also have this church group on Sunday. I'm on my way to become one of the leaders now this summer. If I drop it now for job, when I come back, my friends might have gone to the training and become the leaders already, whereas I will have to take another several months to get the tittle at another training. Should I drop it now or wait until next year when I learn driving to work? My goal is to work when Im a junior and thenforth throughout high school ( Im a sophomore now).

Any ideas that you guys want to suggest?

anyone please>?

Only you can set your priorities. What is more important to you–Church or a paying job?

If your high school offers Driver’s Education, you should take it. Talk with your GC and see if you can take it in January. Successful completion of the course should give you a discount on your future car insurance.

no driving class is offered at my school. I like to do both because the club has the most of my time now
