So I'm a freshman and I'm just confused about some things.
Can someone tell me about getting your drivers license, or the process.
Don't you have to pass a written exam and then drive in front of a examiner.
I'm 14 now, but I'll be 15 in January. Are you suppose to take classes?

And how do you get a job?
Should I write a resume or something?

It differs depending on your state…I know for my state, to get out Learner
s, we have to be 15 1/2 and take a written test, and then once we
re 16 and 3 months, we can get our actual license, and we have to take a written test and then take an actual driving test. But that depends on your state. Each state has a DMV website, look there. And I know for my state, we have to pass a Driver`s Ed class at school, plus pass Road & Range, which is where we go driving with an instructor at school, or we get a private instructor.
But that`s all just for VA^. Have no idea about other states.

As far as job, as a freshman, and 14 almost 15, that
ll limit you to what you can do, usually. Check with family and friends, as you could most likely get a job with them if you know them, otherwise, it
ll probably be tough.

I like that in my state you’re only tested book knowledge once in order to get your permit. A year later they don’t care about what you know, just demonstrate that you know how to drive. To be honest, I don’t the reccomended distance between the car in front of me and my car, or how ever many feet you’re supposed to signal, or how far I’m supposed to stop from a stopped school bus.
