Should ISS: In School Suspension go with a College Application!!!

Hi, I am currently a Junior who had ISS in 10th grade. I first have to admit that I was realllllllly stupid.

I had ISS for just one day by breaking into school. It was on Sunday..like 3 pm..Reason was to get my binder in my locker.. I totally forgot that i have test on Monday for history..

The window was opened..meaning that I never actually "broke" into school.

In reality, i am a hard working student, who normally receives 3.8/4.0 GPA and never had any troubles in school. (although i was screwed in 10th grade year..3.6...)

Considering that, the Assistant Principal gave me just one day ISS. Since I could have been arrested right there, in the school (a helicopter, dogs, and cops were after me he said....I was so scared..) i think it was very lucky for me to get just one day ISS.

I know that my action was so dumb, that "trying-to-get-my-binder"wont be a great excuse...but it is true and it wasnt from any bad purposes or anything...

So my question is that will the record be sent to College?? Or will my guidance counslor just omit the record when sending the transcript???? Since I am a good student??

Thank you for reading long passages..Please give any advices or suggestions....or your story.

A cousin of mine had two suspensions (not sure if they were in school or not) and still got into Northwestern. He got one of the suspensions for eating his teacher’s donut, haha. So I think you’ll be fine in the end, don’t stress about it too much.

haha the other kid who was with me also got ISS by pushing a freshman in a lunch line…yeah…I guess I’ll be fine. Thank you!
