Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions and respond to our mini-rants. While I am disappointed that I was not among those accepted today, I thank you for your courtesy, patience, politeness and kindness in your responses.

Yes, I appreciate it as well.

He, along with MollieB, is so helpful. I’m glad they volunteer to spend time responding to questions and complaints that are surely repetitive. Also, eh’s really cool and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Ditto 10char.

^I also agree. These people are amazing to be able to take several of the CC’s posters’ insults and respond to them in a cordial manner in their free time. I know I wouldn’t be able to do so anyways. I appreciate it.

Thanks guys (and to mollie and piper as well!)

If I were you guys, I would be extremely annoyed with us. Thank you for tolerating.

yea, from what i’ve seen I’d also like to thanks you guys for tolerating us annoying high schoolers.

Listen, I read hundreds of applications every year from amazing, incredible, wonderful students like all of you. It breaks my heart that we can’t accept everyone who would do well here. The least I can do in return is try to be here for you to help you understand how and why we decided as we did.

To MITChris –

From an outsider not going through admissions right now, I have to say I’m impressed with the attitude around here; I never was particularly familiar with MIT’s undergrad school and admissions, but the fact you feel openly accountable to the applicants even after decisions are made is a very unique and great thing. This attitude is certainly not found everywhere.
