i want to know what kinds of tactics do you guys do to show interests. besides having interview, write essay relating to particular school.
it would be helpful something can be done in distance, since i wont be able to go there and having on-compus meeting, or some sorta of that. also please considering that i have no money-_- and am a senior.
thanks.

You can request an over the phone interview with the admissions officer from your area. Some schools do that. This is tough because I think everyone does better face to face. You should also write a few emails, over the next few months expressing interest and explaining that you'd love to meet with them in person but it's just too expensive to fly out. They should understand. Where are you thinking about?

i already had off-compus interview, which was so-so . (you know -_-) i am talking about something i can do besides collegefair, off-compus information sessions, and interview with alumi, since they seems to be obvious and everyone seems to do those anyway.

i am looking for top-tier engineering schools. somehow, email seems to be very systematic and doesnt really have person-to-person relationship. (they probably wouldnt note such.."oh this particular student REALLY wanna come to our school")

any comments would be helpful.
(perhaps these fuzzy "showing interest" might not be that important as i'm thinking.. -_-)
