Hey guys, this is my first post ever so I apologize if I’m posting in the wrong forum or anything like that.
My question is not whether having a sibling at Harvard helps in the admission process or not, but it’s whether Harvard has a space for communicating that you have a sibling there in their application.
I am applying SCEA (sending app tomorrow) and I have not come across a question asking whether I have a sibling there or not, knowing that Harvard applications around 2009 and so did in fact ask that question.
The Common App. under the family section, asks you the educational background of your parents and siblings; there is not a specific question that asks if you have a sibling who attended Harvard.
Actually, in the SIBLING section of the Common Application, from the pull-down menu, selecting EDUCATION LEVEL, brings up these options
Selecting SOME COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY, brings up additional pull-down menus, including COLLEGE LOOK-UP. That’s where you select HARVARD (or another college where your sibling attends) and the start date and graduation date of your sibling.
