Siblings at the same school

Just wondering, how many people on CC have a sibling that is attending/has attended the same high school? If you do have a sibling at the same school, have you ever gotten annoyed with teachers who seem to forget that you and your sibling are two different people?

I have an older sister who graduated last year, and this is my junior year at the same high school she went to. This year, I have almost all of the same teachers that my sister had and they seem to think that we are the same person. The past two years I haven't had this problem very much because I mostly had new teachers who didn't know my sister. This year, it's been a pain since my sister has had all but one of them. I know they are all great teachers, the best my school has to offer, but at times I just want to scream at them that I am not my sister. They all keep comparing me to her and calling me her name in class. I'm not used to this, so I'm getting very annoyed with them.

Anyone else have the problem of teachers comparing them to their siblings?

My cousin was the valedictorian of his class.

It's not too bad though. As long as I don't get anything below a 97, I'm good.

Psh.

It was the opposite for me. My cousin barely graduated and a few of my teachers who had him and not my sister kept saying, "Oh, you should totally tutor your cousin. He's failing my class," and "Your cousin is a huge slacker, are you sure you two are related?"

My sis was valedictorian, goes to Columbia but was the most horribly disorganized person and really annoyed most of her teachers. My teachers all assume I'm the exact same way and act really suprised when I actually hand things in on time and am not so crazy, brilliant genius.

My sister graduated 15th and cared about getting straight A's but taking the "usual" classes (not many AP's, but more honors). Even though she could've gotten into a really top college, she went to a lesser known small college that has more of a focus on theater and music than other academics. She also was overly dramatic and stressed all the time.

I am third in rank, soon to be valedictorian once grades come out. I don't care that much about earning "the A" as much as learning the information and I'm taking the most challenging course load possible. I plan on going to the best college that will accept me and challenge me the most. And I easily handle stress and am calm most of the time unless I can't find a paper to turn-in in class.

We're both smart, but in different ways and this year, the teachers who've had her keep looking down on me when I don't do my best on an assignment or when I get the occasional B.

My sister goes to my school, it's no big deal.

My brother is one grade older than me.

We get along real great and the teachers don't get us confused.

My sis graduated in 2003 from my school. Luckily most teachers, that she didn't get along with, don't remember her at all so that they are not prejudiced towards me. The only teacher that remembers here, liked her a lot, so no problem there.
Another thing working in my favor is that we have a very common last name, so most people don't make the connection.

My brother graduated on '07 and I basically have all of his teachers every year. And EVERY YEAR they start out comparing me to him; he got in the 80s, sometimes almost failed classes, didn't hand in work. But they would ALWAYS say that he was perhaps the coolest person they knew. One teacher likes to hang out with my brother. And another, on the first day of class this year, said: "Sam is one of THE greatest guys I have EVER met." ...This teacher is 60+ and has clearly met many guys in his life.

...Talk about pressure.

I'm way older than the kids in my family, so the only time I ever had anyone related to me in school with me was in elementary school.

That being said, my brother WOULD'VE been a freshman my senior year, but he was held back in like fourth grade or something, and then he ended up dropping out and now he's getting a diploma from a program through the community college in our area.

By the time my sister and my cousins get to my high school everyone will have forgotten me, except for my band teacher. And my cousins don't have the same last name as me so no one would connect us anyway.

My school's 7-12 and my brother's now a 7th grader and I'm a junior. He doesn't have too many of my old teachers, though, and it's a big enough difference in age, so it doesn't bother him too much.

My sister is a year younger than I am. We have a lot of teachers in common, but most don't even know that we're related (we have a common last name and don't really look alike.) I think it'd help her out, though. ;] (She's a good student, but I'm just amazing. Haha just kiddinggg... it's only the difference between like 3.7-3.8 and 4.0. She gets B's a little more often than I do.) I've never really heard a teacher compare us, and not since middle school do I remember teachers getting our names mixed up.

I have a twin brother who's been in some of my classes throughout the years. A lot of teachers can't tell us apart, kinda sad.

i had a LOT of people recognize me as the younger sis of two older bro's in middle school.

Last year, I was a freshman and had a senior sister.
It was so friggen amazing! I miss her. She still lives here. I'm doing everything just like her, but better :P

Just kidding. She's the only family I really have, so its good I still have her.
I don't have any other siblings I'll attend high school with.
