...I'm not one of them.
Honestly...I didn't really think much about college until now (I'm a junior)...and as a result I don't have a great shot at my reach schools.
I think I truly would if I worked to my potential since day 1.

<p>Most HS students are just like you. Stop feeling bad about this. There are many colleges and universities in this country. You will find at least one that is a good place for you to study and that your family can afford.</p>

My D is a Sophomore and in the same boat. We’ll be realistic when with her list of schools when her app time comes, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be settling. There are lots of great schools out there for students of every level.<br>
I really like and recommend the book “Colleges that Change Lives” for some schools you may not have considered. They have a web site, as well.</p>

<p>What are your stats? (GPA and ACT and SAT scores - including SAT breakdown). If you haven’t taken any tests, what were your PSAT scores?</p>
<p>How much will your parents pay each year for college? That will likely influence where you can go. </p>
