Signature Scholarships Better for RD?

Hi, I’m planning on applying to WashU on the ED2 route, and I want to apply to the signature scholarships as well. I read somewhere that you have a better chance getting a signature scholarship if you apply RD, is this true?

Also, if I don’t apply Pre-med, can I still go onto the Pre-med track if I get in? Thank you for reading

I can’t address the first part, but I can tell you that my son applied EDI for the PNP major and changed to pre-med once he got in. He met with his advisor and had no issues switching. He is now a sophomore majoring in Bio Chem (actually pre-vet but you have to follow pre-med requirements.). Good luck!
