<p>I noticed that Columbia's 25-75 percentiles for the SATs shot through the roof from last year's:
2008 - 1360 - 1550
2009 - 1410 - 1540</p>
<p>That's a staggering difference, and a rare leap. Any word on why that happened? The other peer schools (Brown, Penn, Dart) went up slightly, but not nearly this much.</p>
