Signing Housing Leases

So I think I have to sign my leasing within a month. I have to go to my school which is 2 hours away and sign it. Is there anyway I can do this electronically or make it a less of a hassle?

Drive to school -> Sign lease -> drive back home..

4 hours gone, gas money wasted..., inefficient usage of my time.

Any experience you guys had with stuff like this?

Have you tried asking them if there is a way for you to sign the lease electronically or by mail/fax?

There is absolutely no way for ANY of us to answer this. Call your landlord or the company and ask them.

I just printed it, signed it, scanned it, and emailed it. But ask the company.

It depends on your landlords. I signed my lease electronically because I am moving a 4-hour drive away. They emailed me the lease. I printed out the lease, signed it and got it notarized (at their request), and mailed it back to them.
