Hi, so I am applying for the Simons Fellowship at Stony Brook and I was wondering if volunteering at the hospital would help my chances. I need transportation and my school is willing to provide transportation for me to see my MENTOR (which I already have) but probably won't for this, unless it is research related. Will it help? If so I MIGHT be able to get transportation. If not, I guess I'll have to convince my mentor to me with me more often so I can volunteer after :D.

Has anybody heard that they were accepted to the Simons Fellowship at Stony Brook yet?

Hey folks… you might want to contact Karen Kernan. Hopefully she can help:

Did you find out by mail or was it on the simons page?

I heard back from Karen Kernan rather early (March 15) via email. Nothing was on the simons homepage, as I remember
