And good luck to everyone else  I applied to 6 programs this year. I was rejected from 4, and I’m still waiting on 1. Don’t give up, there’s a program out there that’s just right for you. I’m sure you guys are all amazing.

AND It ain’t over till it’s over! You guys still have until 5 PM to get a call!

Gmarch89: Noo don’t worry I think they are continuously calling, and nothing is final until the email

just got the call, accepted! congrats to all of you~

with all these californians getting in … i think we know what’s been a crucial factor in decisions

alwaysleah, congrats on your acceptance too even though i found it kind of weird that you got rejected from everything else outside of california (:

Oh. SAT: 2190 (710 CR, 730 Writing, 750 math) ← I know it’s weak I didn’t study. PSAT was 222. I didn’t take any SAT 2’s yet.

Look, do we really have to go there? There are local opportunities for almost everyone. There were TONS of programs that I looked into that had regional preferences. The one at UC Berkeley preferred kids from another county, the one in Wisconsin wanted kids from the rocky mountain area, the one in NYC wanted kids from NY. It all evens out. There’s no reason to be bitter.

Are you kidding me with the rejection comment? I’ve worked my as* off for years. Look at my stats. Clearly I wasn’t a CA pity case. I mean not to be cocky but jeez.

Congrats alwaysleah! Btw what was the intern program that you did at Thailand last summer?
